From the President

Welcome back!  You will find several new additions to the park while you were away this summer.  We have had the parking lot coated and striped, an update to the front toilets was done with the addition of hot water, new sink and faucets and new lighting.  The new lighting and ceiling in the Hall was completed and was under the original budget.
We had no break-ins this summer and just a couple of water line breaks.  I want to applaud everyone for having their weeds attended to as I had to send out just one weed letter.  Those that sprayed weeds this extremely hot summer really earned their money.
I want to also thank those people who gave of their time this summer to help us out with the ceiling demolition and cleanup of the Hall.  Those people are Jim Mossburg, Carol and Harold Dahlin, Gene Dvorak, Ted and Dorothy Zeleski, Tommy and Judy Taylor, Manny Orosco and Fran Cain.  Linda and I really appreciated all your help, although we did have to help Ted out of the trash can once, but that’s another story.
Dennis Grover, President
Activities
A special welcome to everyone at Fiesta Village.  Just a reminder that you are encouraged to attend our Monday morning Announcements each week.  Coffee and donuts are served at 8:00 am and the announcements are at 8:30 am.  I will be your activities director for this season.  Dora Tudor will be our assistant director for this year and she will be the activity director beginning in the fall of 2012.  We welcome Dora to our volunteer staff.
An All Park Garage Sale will be held on Saturday Nov 26th 8 am – Noon.  Fiesta Village will provide a permit for the parking lot and you may sell there.  If you sell at your home, you are responsible for your own permit.  The next sale will be Feb 25, 2012.
I look forward to volunteering with you this season.  Hours and hours of activities have been planned.  Enjoy your time here at Fiesta Village.
Sharon Lance, Activity Director

Reminders
Check out the various sign-up sheets in the hallway and behind the lobby desk, as well as the list for the Thanksgiving dinner duties that is on the kitchen wall.
Check the Rolodex on the Lobby counter and in the Mail Room to be sure your information is current.
Have you copied the front and back of each of your credit cards, medical cards and any other important information that you carry in your wallet or purse so that in case of loss, you have the information to make your calls?
Another security item:  When sending an e-mail to multiple addresses, type in your own name in the “to” and then add all of the additional addresses in the “bcc”.  On some computers, you click on the “cc” to get to the “bcc.”
Place items to be included in the Flash in the box on the file cabinet.  Include your name and telephone number in case of need to clarify.
