Fiesta Village Park is a 55 and older retirement community in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.  The Park is located just two blocks from Expressway 83, in Mission, Texas, an hour from Padre Island on the Gulf of Mexico, minutes from shopping and dining in nearby Mexico, only 15 minutes to the McAllen International Airport, and minutes away from numerous nearby hospitals and doctors.  Shopping centers and restaurants of all kinds abound within a few miles of Fiesta Village in Mission and adjoining cities, McAllen and Edinburg.

AMENITIES

The Park's many amenities include a large air-conditioned ballroom/recreation hall with capacity for 500 people; billiards room with four tables; modern fully-equipped kitchen; large modern laundromat; library; game room; large heated pool and hot tub; 18  shuffleboard courts, of which 12 are lighted; wireless internet service to your site (wi-fi); and many others.  Street maintenance, water, sewer and trash pickup are all provided by the City of Mission.

Park Ownership, Management and

Rentals

Fiesta Village is a private community.  Residents of Fiesta Village own their own lots and housing at 427 sites.  The park is zoned by city ordinance to allow only park model homes and recreational vehicles. Permanent homes or full-size mobile homes are not permitted.

A limited number of RV lots and fully furnished park models are for sale or rent at any given time, by their owners.

The Park is managed by a Board of Directors, elected by the owner residents. Residents are provided ample opportunities for involvement in the decision making.

Resident volunteers handle most of the Park's needs and activities; therefore,  the Park has no paid employees. Necessary professional services are provided on a contract basis.  This allows annual dues to be kept at a minimum, currently $165.00 per year.  Continual activities of all kinds, social gatherings and quality entertainment make the Park one of the friendliest of its kind.

Weather

Of course, the weather is one of the main attractions that brings thousands of retirees to the Rio Grande Valley.  Warm temperatures, abundant sunshine, gentle gulf breezes, no frost or snow, rustling palm and citrus trees, flowers and flat terrain make the Valley a virtual paradise.  The huge Rio Grande Valley, extending all along the southernmost Texas border, is a well-kept secret with thousands of acres of citrus groves, sugar cane, vegetables and other agricultural crops, boasting all the amenities of a large city, but with a rural agricultural environment and low cost of living.

If the weather should turn snowy, we have a team of volunteers to take on the snow removal task and guaranteed to  respond in 24 hours.
Hall
At the Hall, with parking for 75 vehicles, sometimes referred to as the Recreation Hall, you will find the reception desk, office, library, mailroom, laundry, billiards room, kitchen, main hall, and card rooms.  Behind the Hall are the hot tub and swimming pool, entertainment patio, shuffleboard courts, and horseshoe pit.

Where people come to experience life in the Valley! - warm winters, music, dancing, arts, fine dining, entertainment, games, wonderful friends - together we have it all!
